Starting with tea at 10.15am, each half-day masterclass offers an introduction to the history and production of Japan’s national drink, with a particular focus on how and when to drink it. Guests will try a selection of different sakes, and the masterclass will include lunch. They will also receive a gift bag on departure, including a small bottle of sake and a traditional Japanese kikichoko ‘snake eye’ sake cup.
