His work is in numerous collections, including that of Bill Gates. 2020 was supposed to bring a triumphant return to Japan, with projects at Meiji Shrine and Shinjuku Station. However, the Olympics were postponed and other projects during his stay were interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
